I'm planning to buy a xti rebel and i was wondering if this bundle kit from buydig.com good for a person who's buying their first dslr camera?
Is all the items in this bundle necessary and is this a good price?

The 18-55mm kit lens is crap.
Filters you don't need, especially the UV filter.
The extra battery is not necessary unless you plan to shoot every day for long periods of time.
The holster case is probably not the best, nor is it necessary.
The card reader would be good, but it is probably not the best.
The only cleaning kit you need really is a micro fiber cloth.
All in all, the "Pro" kit was just created to get people to buy the camera, since they want to get rid of all the extra junk at a higher price than what is worth, or what they could get for it.
My suggestion is buy the camera body, and nothing else. Then, get a better lens, not the 18-55mm kit. Get a 1 GB memory card, and that's really all you need.
